Janathon Day 27 – Yoga again

I spent today telling work colleagues that I’ve entered a marathon. The more I talk about it the more excited I get!

Oooh my colleagues are going to LOVE hearing about this for the next 35 weeks and 5 days 😉

Yoga again this evening. We have now completed the full Sun Salutation sequence so I will be able to practise over the next week. When I first did this course 18 months ago I was running but not doing any strength training (then I got injured, there’s a surprise). I found some of the poses, e.g. plank, challenging and often had delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) the following day, especially through my arms and shoulders. This time my strength training has paid off and so far no DOMS! I’m really enjoying the class and look forward to continuing to the next level.
