Janathon Day 28 – Wishing I was snoozing in the sun too

I got home from work a little earlier than usual and it was actually light still! It would have been a whole lot lighter if the clouds had lifted slightly, but it was only drizzling so I’m not complaining. An easy 4.38 mile run this evening followed by squats, heel lifts, bridges, planks, stretches, etc. etc. etc.

Here is a Tasmanian Devil snoozing in the sun – I kind of wish I was there beside him (although his breath would be quite whiffy!).

Sleeping Tasmanian Devil. Photograph by Kathy Atkinson/OSF. Tasmanian devils are usually nocturnal animals, sleeping in burrows or hollow logs during the day and emerging at night to feed. Occasionally individuals such as this snoozing specimen in Tasmania will break the pattern and come out in daylight to bask in the sunshine.
